Tiprow Controls has been manufacturing electrical control panels for the mining and heavy industrial sectors for over 30 years. The company offers fully type tested assemblies complying with SANS/IEC 61439/2 and 61641 TR2 .

The company is dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing and skill set of its workforce and is a level 4 contributor to BBBEE.

Tiprow is now wholly owned by UK systems integrator, Industrial Automation and Control Ltd., and can call on the 50 years of controls experience which currently resides in Newport in South Wales. IAC has an ambition to migrate the expertise of the UK workforce to make Tiprow Controls a leader in its field in South Africa.

The company has built a reputation for quality panel build and is working hard to maintain its position as a leading provider of electrical control panels. Training and development is at the centre of the company’s strategy, and people development is its core.

Although primarily working in the mining sector, Tiprow has collaborated with its UK parent company to provide large systems in Steel, Aluminium and Materials Handling.
